Important: Changes to Validation Process

The recent launch of the Anjuna MGA in 2017 has been highly successful.  To assist in maintaining and improving our competitive pricing strategies, across courier and taxi, we are making the following changes to our validation process from the 1st April 2018.

The below table highlights the requirements for all new single vehicle business placed with each of our insurer partners.  All documentation must be uploaded to the BUW portal, e-mailed documents will no longer be accepted or processed by the BUW team:

* These must be issued by the previous Insurer only.  Telephone declarations and Broker NCB proof letters are not acceptable.

The new process for Anjuna SV Courier business will include a review of NCB Letters/Renewal Schedules at the point of inception.  This documentation must be uploaded to the BUW portal prior to inception OR on the day of inception.  Failure to supply this will result in Anjuna Insurance not accepting cover therefore voiding the client’s policy ab initio.

The following timescales will apply to all new Anjuna SV Courier policies where cover is bound from 1st April 2018, regardless of inception date:

Days from Inception Action
Prior to inception The Insurer issued NCB or Renewal Schedule must be uploaded to the BUW portal on or before the day of inception
Day 1 to Day 14 The remaining documents are uploaded to the BUW portal by the Broker (documents can be uploaded from the date cover is bound)
Day 14 If all documents have not been received a 7 day cancellation letter will be issued
Day 21 If all documents have not been received the cancellation will be processed

 

The following timescales will apply to all other new policies where cover is bound from 1st April 2018, regardless of inception date:

The validation process for renewals will remain unchanged, all documents should be uploaded to the BUW portal and cancellation letters will be issued if documents are not received by Day 28.
